Terms and conditions

Personalisation

Personalized jewelry is non-refundable or exchangeable due to its unique and customized nature. Prior to placing an order, you will be requested to verify the accuracy of the details. While I will make every effort to ensure accuracy, any errors made after confirmation cannot be corrected. Kindly note that these items are crafted by hand, not by a machine, which may result in slight imperfections. Additionally, please be aware that the production time for personalized jewelry is longer compared to mass-produced items.

Warranty

Within the span of twelve months from the date of purchase, I am committed to providing free repair or replacement for any product that demonstrates defects resulting from substandard materials or workmanship, provided it has been used and maintained in a normal manner. It is important to note that this warranty does not cover damages caused by regular wear and tear. Kindly ensure that you have proof of purchase readily available.

Faulty Items

Items are categorized as defective if they arrive damaged or if a manufacturing defect occurs within three months of the purchase. Jewelry that is damaged due to normal wear and tear is not deemed faulty. Every item undergoes thorough inspection and quality control procedures before being dispatched from the workshop. In the event that you receive a damaged item during transit, kindly get in touch with us promptly.

Wear & Tear

It is strongly advised to refrain from wearing any jewelry while engaging in sports, gym activities, swimming (both in natural and indoor settings), gardening, mucking out horses, farming, washing pots, or even during sleep. The reason behind this recommendation is that solvents, bleaches, household chemicals, and cleaning products have the potential to tarnish silver and harm gemstones, particularly Opals. Additionally, certain skin types can cause silver to turn black, but this is merely a superficial discoloration that can be easily eliminated with a gentle polishing cloth. If these chemicals come into contact with gold jewelry, they can corrode the structure, leading to damage that may compromise the quality and longevity of the piece.

Rings with stones

It is crucial to exercise additional caution when wearing rings adorned with stones, as any impact or abrasion can potentially harm both the stones and their settings. It is important to note that once these rings are worn, they cannot be resized. To maintain their beauty and longevity, it is recommended to regularly clean them if the back of the stone is exposed. This can be done by soaking the ring in warm water with a small amount of washing up liquid and using a soft bristle toothbrush to gently clean it.

Returns

I offer a 14-day return policy for goods purchased online. You are welcome to return the item(s) for any reason, except for earrings due to hygiene reasons and personalized items. It is important that you take proper care of the goods in your possession, as I cannot exchange or refund items that show signs of rough handling or damage, or do not have their original packaging in a sellable condition. In such cases, the buyer will be responsible for the return shipping costs.

To initiate a return, please contact me with your name, address, details of the jewelry, and the reason for the return.

Please note that the original postage costs will not be refunded unless the item was sent in error or has been identified as faulty or damaged (provided I am notified within 7 days of receipt). Once the return is approved, the jewelry must be sent back within 28 days of receiving it, and you will be refunded within 14 days of my receipt of the returned goods.

Please ensure that you use a trackable shipping service, such as Royal Mail Special Delivery (insured), as the responsibility for the jewelry remains with you until it reaches me. I cannot be held accountable for returns that are lost during transit.

Care

Over time, silver jewellery naturally tarnishes. It is important to keep your jewellery clean and avoid contact with creams, lotions, oils, perfumes, and make-up. When not wearing it, store your jewellery in separate small plastic bags to prevent scratching or tangling. I suggest storing your jewellery away from direct sunlight, either in its original packaging or a jewellery box.

Holiday care

Ensure the protection of your jewelry by keeping it away from sun cream and after sun lotion, as these substances can cause damage and tarnishing. Additionally, it is advisable to refrain from wearing your jewelry while swimming in pools or jacuzzis, as the chlorine present can tarnish silver. When not wearing your jewelry, store it safely in a small plastic seal bag to prevent tangling and ensure its safety.
