Annabel The Goldsmith designs and produces well-crafted and contemporary jewellery. Using a combination of traditional production methods to create unique pieces for people who value the beauty and elegance of precious metals and gemstones and it's role as part of nature and our human history.

Owner and principal designer Annabel started making jewellery when she was a student of Metalwork and Jewellery at Sheffield Hallam University. After graduating with a BA in 2014, she spent a further year as an apprentice, enhancing her skills while working at a silversmith factory. She was subsequently awarded a Commendation from the Goldsmiths’ Craft and Design Council Award for Junior Silversmiths 2015. During this time, she continued to design and sell jewellery, taking great pleasure in crafting silver pieces that people could wear and enjoy.

After training with jobbing jewellers in a well known Yorkshire jewellers Annabel had to leave Sheffield due to unforseen circumstances. In her new home Aberystwyth, which she has known since being small, she began her new life. Annabel then spent 5 years with the repituble and establish Welsh Gold Center Rhiannons who specialize in Welsh Gold. After becoming lead goldsmith and workshop manager the time finally came to go her own way.

With the aim to become a goldsmith (which she began her journey in 2013) reflects her dedication to superior craftsmanship, innovative design, and above all, to creating small treasures which bring delight to people every day and for generations to come.

 Annabel The Goldsmith emphasizes sustainability and ethically sourced materials without compromising on the quality of our metals and gemstones and encourages the use of sentimental gold and gems to make your new piece of jewellery that bit closer to your heart.
